Here’s a simple guide for admins on how to use our customisable widgets to change the look of your homepage.

- Adjust the Order
To get started, head to the cog in the top right corner of the page and click 'Settings'. Scroll down the page until you reach the heading Structure, and click the Homepage settings tab.
Here you will be presented with your homepage widget options on the left-hand side of the page. A rundown of each widget's functionality is as follows.
Content Hero
The content hero displays up to four items of content, this can either be the four latest pieces of content posted to your community, or editors pick content that you choose yourself.
Contribution Bar
This widget reminds users to update their profile and - if they have the ability to do so - to create content.
Welcome Bar
The welcome bar displays customisable marketing messaging to prompt the user to register, sign-in or invite others.
Channel Widget
Here you can select any channel on your site to be displayed as a widget, that shows a card that contains your channel description and links to the channel along with cards for the three latest items of content in that channel.
Room Widget
Using this widget, you can display as many rooms as you desire with a single card containing the room poster image you have selected for each room. You can adjust the labelling of the widget using the Title field just below the room selection tab.
Event Widget
This widget allows you to promote upcoming events to your community. You can select as many events as you would like to display, as well as the order in which events will be displayed.
Content Carousel
The carousel widget will display up to 16 items of content on a loop, and selects content based on the collection you choose. As with the room widget, you can update the widget title however this will default to either Highlights (editors picks collection) or Latest content if nothing is inputted.
Promoted Users
The Users widget allows you to select any group on your site to be displayed in a carousel. The users are displayed in the order that they were added to the group and up to 16 users can be featured here.
Sponsors
A popular feature amongst Zapnito customers, this widget allows you to display your sponsor/partner logos in a row, with custom clickable links that can be used to support campaigns. If you would like this to be setup on your site, please send your requirements to support@zapnito.com ensuring that high resolution png image versions of your sponsor logos are included.
User Search
A widget to encourage networking and engagement among your community members. The title, caption and search bar placeholder are all customisable elements of this widget.
Latest Conversations
This widget will display the 8 most recent room conversations on your community, along with the avatars of the users that have responded to the conversation thread.
Custom Widget
This widget allows you to insert your own custom HTML and CSS to the homepage.
Adjust the Order
To adjust the order of the widgets, simply use the slider in the top left corner of the box to drag it above or below other widgets. Ensure that you have selected the toggle on each widget in order to activate it.
Use the Save and Preview button at the top of the page in order to check you're happy your new-look homepage in all its glory before releasing it to the world!

How do I select the content items that are the editors pick in the Content Hero?
Hi Robert, I can point you to this explainer article which details how to select Editor's Picks content (see the gif at the very top of the article).
Let me know if you're not able to view the 'Admin' actions button on content? This may be an abilities issue.
