Zapnito enables you to implement Google Analytics 4 (GA4) tracking in your community. Here's how to set it up.
Firstly, your Google Admin account holder will need to generate a GA4 tracking code from within your Google Analytics account. For information on how to generate this code, please follow the instructions in Google's support article.
Once you have your GA4 code, head to your Zapnito community and click 'Settings' under the cog in the top right-hand corner of the page. Then, scroll down to the Admin section and select the Custom Scripts tile.
Create a new custom script - ensuring that you have selected location 'Head' - and paste the GA4 code in the HTML section provided. You should also ensure that you select a consent category, which in this case would typically be 'Measurement'. Once you've done this, make sure to hit save at the bottom of the page.
If you were previously using Universal Analytics to track your site traffic, you will need to migrate your existing UA property to GA4 by following the steps outlined above.
