It's never been easier to curate and showcase the very best of your community content to your users. Here's all you need to know about our Editor's Picks functionality.
(Note that in order to perform this action, you will need to be in a group with the 'Create editors pick content' ability.)
Select content to be highlighted
At the top of the content view page, you will find the 'Quick Edit' button. Here, you will be able to highlight the content by updating its publish settings.
Add highlighted content to your homepage
Once you have selected some items of content to be highlighted, there are couple of ways you can insert Editor's Picks content to your homepage. If you would like to learn more about how to configure your Zapnito homepage, check out our guide.
In your Homepage Settings, you can create either a 'Content hero' or 'Carousel' widget to display your highlighted content. Ensure that you select the 'Editor's picks' collection as opposed to 'Latest content'.
The highlighted content will appear in these widgets in the order that you selected them, from the most recently-selected to the last selected item.
The Highlights email
The Highlights email uses the Editor's Picks functionality to send your currently selected Editor's Picks content items as an email to your customers every two weeks, giving you the opportunity to curate for your customers a selection of your site's best content.

Important things to note about the highlights email:
- Sent fortnightly on Fridays at 18:00 UTC
- Users will need to opt-in to the email on the Notification Preferences page
- The email contains up to 10 items of content
- As with the homepage widgets, it displays content in the order it was selected from the most recently-selected to the last selected
- The system collects the content to be included just before the email is sent
To make the selection of this content easier we have created a 'Highlights' page that admins can use to curate the content that appears in the email. To access it, simply add /highlights to the end of your site's URL:
https://your-community.com/highlights
This page will only display the ten items of content that will appear in the email (not all the content that has ever been highlighted).
To change what will appear in the email, simply select and deselect the highlights in the normal way, by clicking into the content and using the 'Admin' actions button to add or remove a piece of content.

Where can I now find the "admin" button? The screenshot on this page now looks like this:
Hi Bob. The admin actions have been moved under the 'Quick Edit' button.
