You can add an unlimited number of co-authors to your Zapnito posts, videos and documents. Here's a guide to show you how.
Enable the settings
To switch this feature on for your site, head to the cog in the top right-hand corner of the page and click Settings. From here, scroll down to the Configuration header and select the Authoring Settings tile.
On the left side of the screen you'll see a section called contributors;
The first button allows you to add contributors when you're creating content, and the second button allows these contributors to show up on the published piece.
Add contributors to your content
Once you have enabled the relevant settings, navigate to the authoring page where you will find the 'Contributors' tab in the sidebar.
You will be able to search across all site members (who have a visible profile), or invite a previously unregistered user to join the site to be a contributor on your content. For the latter, the person in question will receive an email prompting them to register to your site.
Once you have added a contributor and saved or published the content, they will appear next to you at the top of the content; you can click the 'see all' button to reveal a list of all authors on the post and choose to follow these co-authors to receive alerts on their newly published content. Moreover, when you add a contributor to a piece of content they'll also appear on the content card.
The content in question will appear on the profile page of all listed authors, under a separate 'Contributions' tab.
